On Saturday, 26th July, customers and colleagues are invited to join the birthday celebrations at Dover Priory station as it celebrates its 164th birthday!
James Pickering, a member of the station, said:
"There will be a smaller Birthday Party to celebrate the station’s actual birthday on Tuesday 22 July from 11:30 AM at Dover Priory Station Waiting Area.
"But Saturday will be an opportunity to see the unveiling of a display on the vast Railway History of Dover, which along with a small ceremony will feature a small buffet and of course a Birthday Cake!
"This project has meant a lot to me and has seen outstanding collaboration between Southeastern's Dover Priory team, Dover District Council's Community Rail Partnership, Southern Electric Group, Dover Transport Museum and former railway staff."
